Dr. Alex Brown combines over two decades of experience with a modern, personalized approach to help you build a body that’s resilient, capable, and ready for a lifetime of adventures.
Let’s be honest. You’ve likely experienced it before: a rushed, 5-minute adjustment where you feel more like a number than a patient. You’re in and out, the underlying problem is never fully addressed, and the pain always returns. This is the “turn and burn” model, and it’s a relic of the past.
“I have been to many chiropractors for over 30 years and he is the first Dr. to give me both spinal and muscular relief. Unlike other chiropractors, who ‘turn and burn’ with short adjustment meetings, he spends quality time with you… I saw immediate results.”
— Paula H., Mill Valley
That’s exactly why Dr. Alex built North Bay Health and Wellness differently.
At North Bay Health and Wellness, we believe true progress requires time and expertise. Our practice is built on a simple, powerful promise: you spend the entire 30-minute session one-on-one with Dr. Alex Brown bringing over 20 years of experience to active adults and athletes throughout Marin County. There are no assistants, no hand-offs—just dedicated care with an experienced Doctor of Chiropractic who is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
We use this time to go beyond temporary fixes and address the root cause of your issues through a comprehensive approach that includes:
We assess your entire system from the feet up to understand how interconnected issues contribute to your pain or performance limitations.
We integrate a suite of techniques, including full spine and extremity adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and focused assisted stretching (PNF).
We guide you from acute pain relief, through corrective care, and into a state of long-term wellness and optimized living.
My journey began as a competitive college athlete, where I learned firsthand how frustrating it is to be sidelined by injury. That experience drove me to understand the body on a deeper level—not just to treat pain, but to optimize performance and prevent problems before they start. It’s why I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) alongside my chiropractic degree. I don’t just treat patients; I partner with them.
My commitment to this path was solidified during a chiropractic mission trip to Peru. While providing care to thousands of underserved individuals, I witnessed the life-changing impact that dedicated, hands-on treatment could have. It was then that I knew I had found my calling: to provide that same level of focused, transformative care to my own community here in Marin County.
If you are ready to move beyond temporary fixes and invest in a long-term strategy for your health, I invite you to schedule your first personalized session. Let’s work together to build a plan that keeps you doing what you love—for years to come.
